Air in the lines will not cause that problem. Brake fluid loss means you have a leak. Good pedal pressure when off can be attributed to lack of boost. You can tell if the master cylinder is ok by inspecting it. Only a mechanic can do this. What you can do for a quick check is verify the brake fluid level. I would take your car into a shop right away as your brakes are one of the most vital components of the vehicle.

east terms with the car off the vacuum pressure gets used up if u push the brake pedal down which is a hard pedal but with them going to the floor you might just need new brakes when they wear down the pedal gets closer to the floor now if the pedal is really squishy with the car on thats air in the lines and just to be sure check for leaks with the car on press the pedal lots and look on the ground for fluid i hope this helped please rate this answer
