If I weren't home alone, and they didn't look really creepy, probably.
-
I would find that pretty strange because I live in the country and there are plenty of places to go potty. I certainly wouldn't let them in!
-
No, there's 2 gas stations and a restaurant across the street.
-
no.
-
For a second I thought your question said "strangler" instead of "stranger." In either case, no, probably not.
-
Never let a stranger into your home, for any reason. for some thieves, this is just an excuse to observe what valuables you have inside your home and to come back later, when you are gone, to take what they please. This also includes serial killers that check out you and your family. NEVER LET A STRANGER USE YOUR BATHROOM OR YOUR PHONE.

Living way out in the woods, there would be no good reason for someone to drive or walk way up our driveway to ask for the use of my bathroom. They must be up to no good. And if I was in more of an urban area I would think there would be some sort of fast food or gas station they could use. Maybe if it looked like a woman in trouble and my husband were home. But I think it's too suspicious.
-
Nope, there is a gas station one block away, if they had to, they could go in my back yard. I don't even open my door for strangers.
-
No. There's a public restroom in the grocery store across the street.
-
mhm.
-
Absolutely not. I live on a dead-end street and there is a restaurant with public restrooms close enough by they can use. There was a female thief about this time last year, who would approach older neighbors in my neighborhood, asking to use their phone to call AAA and then robbing them. The neighborhood watch kicked in and warned others about the problem. I would reiterate what John Pennington expressed: NEVER LET A STRANGER USE YOUR PHONE OR YOUR BATHROOM.

Living in Scotland I would have no choice. There is an ancient law, which has never been abolished that states if a stranger comes to your door, it is ilegal to decline them the use of your facilities. Weird huh? not a lot of people know that and I dont think any law inforcement agency would ever back it up but its there all the same.

I recently had a repairman in my home, and he asked to use the bathroom. I let him, but felt strange about it. When he was done, he explained that he had a problem with kidney stones!
-
Nooo way Jose.
-
Probably, unless I felt really uncomfortable.
-
NO, we re in the middle of nowhere with only 3 other houses. If they can't figure out to use a tree or go behind a bush, then they re out of luck!
-
I'd say "sure" and direct them to my neighbor's house.
-
Sure.
-
I won't, just because that stranger could be another BTK on the loose! Yaiikkss!
