  • Men can, and do. I'm one of those men.
  • I like to talk about my feelings, especially all my good feelings. I don't see why we must dwell on our negative ones when so many positive ones can be made.
  • Because they've been raised not to in most socities. It's seen as unmanly and weak. Which is a real shame since not talking about them leads to emmoitional problems and substance abuse.

  • We can. But it's generally harder for some of us to do so. It's an erroneous concept learned and enforced since childhood for most men that: We shouldn't cry, show weakness or be emotional. Also we are told to "take it like a man". In my opinion all of those are preconceived, erroneous notions of what a man should act like. The effect of those are still present in the way of acting of many of us. The issue of lack of communication and openness in discussing feelings have a lot to do with that.
