Yes. I smile at everyone I meet and treat each individual with as much respect as possible. I also love to hand out compliments. =)

I try to! In England you have to put a deposit in a coin slot on grocery carts before you can take them. One day as I was approaching I saw an old lady trying to find change in her purse so that she could get her grocery cart, so I popped a pound in for here and gave her the cart. I also have a habit of putting quarters in parking meters that are about to expire!

I'm one of those nice drivers... so I hope. I actaully stop for pedestrians, and I let people in. After all, what's one more car in front of me gonna put me behind with? 5 seconds?
-
When tourists in ny are confused with the bus system, I let them use my metro card. It's a small gesture, but I think it helps.
-
Yes. I also believe that most random acts should be as anonymous as is possible.... *smile*

I'll give directions and donate my time. I Don't really think about it when people ask favors of me, so I guess I do now that I think about it. I kind of figure that this person might have been or might be me.
-
I try to. I let people in front of me in traffic, I open doors for people, I give my seats up for elderly and pregnant people, in the stores if the person in front of me is short a few bucks, I'll pay for them, At school I carry extra pencils, pens a stapler and other supplies when I hear "oh man I need...." I give them one of my extras. Help handicapped people reach things on high shelves. Just little things that'll help someone have a better day.

Uploading this is my random act of kindness for the day.

Occasionally, if I see an elderly couple, or a veteran with his family or someone that looks like they cannot afford the meal they are eating, I will pay them out when I pay out. But I always tell the cashier not to tell them who it was, I just dont want them to know it was me.

Yes, all the time. In the sheltered housing complex where i work about 40% of the people there are clients that i work for, if any of the others need something doing eg, washing, ironing, shopping etc i regularly offer to help out. It makes me happy to help elderly people and i wouldnt see anyone stuck or struggling with a chore that needs done.

I hold doors for people, I've purchased meals for homeless people on the street, I've paid tolls for people behind me, I've helped people carry things. I try....even the littlest things can make someone's day!
-
Yes, I do. I've given 5 dollars to a girl at a concert because she didn't have money to buy a drink. I wasn't asked. It felt pretty good. :D I also bought a case of drinks once (non-alcoholic, I just can't remember what they were haha) and just distributed them amongst people at the skatepark. Initially, I just went to see if someone I knew was there, but they weren't so I just gave them away. There are more, but I am just too lazy to go back and think of every occasion. :P

I do, on occasion. Yesterday, I took of roll of quarters home for my cousin because she rides the bus to get to work. Usually, I like to do stuff so that I don't draw attention to myself, as it makes me feel uncomfortable... especially if folks feel obligated to hug. (I don't like being touched.)

Whenever I can help ... I do not so much a random act ... but more a characteristic. I also have a wildlife shelter ... so the kindess is not limited to people. Thankyou Miles ... (pulled from pouch of mother killed by car)

Like Moto said, my acts aren’t generally “random,” but I’ve occasionally done stuff like pay the toll for the car behind me.
-
Not typically, my acts of kindness are hardly random. Every year, though, when I drive up to my parents' house for Xmas, I always pay the toll for the car behind me at all the tollbooths. I have always thought that truly "random" acts of kindness would result in you doing something nice for someone bad, like helping someone escape from prison or something. :)
