It would look like this only further along, hopefully:-) This is our home the two of us are building. The log part cost $85,000. The rest is trickling up. No final figure yet. Just got the sand and rock delivered today to do the septic system. My husband is out back, now working on the backhoe. my dream house would be a cozy cabin in the middle of the woods. part of what would make it my dream house would be the land surrounding it...i'd have goats, chickens,dogs, cats and many other creatures...and a garden too! cost? why spoil the dream thinking about that!?

My dream house would be an old sounthern manse. With the big columns and painted white. cost, I know I could never afford it, so what does it matter.

As far as cost, I have no idea. I want a 3 bedroom home. 2 bathrooms (1 of those being a master bath). Dining Room, Kitchen and Living room (all separate from each other). A Room for an office. And somewhere out in the country. Where I can have any animals I want.

3-4 bedroom brick split-level single family home. hardwood floors. large kitchen, gas stove. vaulted ceilings, skylight, loft. master bedroom with private bath jacuzzi tub. finished basement. small patio or deck and garden. probably around 400k?
