  • No idea and I would actually really like to know the answer to this, because I have a similar 'problem' Seems like our cases are equally weird and have chocolate smells in commom: Some mornings, my armpits smell like nutella, and I don't even eat it, so it's not because I'm sweating it out. weird, huh?
  • Probably due to washing your head with Hershey's chocolate.
  • The molds that grow behind your ears and between your toes are related, if not the same, and should be related to the mold used in bleu cheese. How you get chocolate, I don't know, but it will probably change as your body is adopted by additional molds, including cheese molds. It's natural, and not necessarily a bad thing, just wash yourself regularly.
  • Maybe because you scratch behind your ear when you eat Hershey's Chocolate. Or maybe because of strange body odours, like Hallmehn said.
  • That's ok. Just be concerned when it smells like moldy cheese.
  • Be happy I am not your woman, I would be tonguing your head behind your ear. LOL Hmmm. is it milk or dark chocolate smell?
  • Well, if you eat chocolate all the time, the body smells like the things ingested.
  • Maybe you scratched your head after that last chocolate cupcake. Haha And, are you bragging or complaining?
  • As long as it smells good, why bother?
  • I'm more of a skittle girl myself!
  • what you are describing is a normal phenomenon. we have sebaceous glands behind the ear. they secrete a fluid to keep the skin lubricated behind te ear. this causes the smell. also since the area behind the ear is an easy place for bacteria to multiply. the sebaceous secretions along with the bacteria can cause the smell. the smell varies from person to person as the body odor. in some people it is very strong, while in the other it is not.
