Should people genetically engineer a cure for hate, bigotry, and stupidity?

I would engineer genetic elimination of bigotry were it possible. I would not for generic hatred or stupidity. To me, the big crime is bigotry. Bigotry is not just plain old hate... it is illogical hatred targeting all of one sort of individual or another. Bigotry is also not just stupidity... it is stupidity, applied with hatred, and targeted against a specific group of people. Some people are going to say that, by agreeing with genetically eliminating bigotry, I am taking away their Rights™. I would not care by what means I eliminated bigotry, be it via the route of genetic manipulation or education. I just want it stopped. Nothing is going to stop bigotry. Genetic engineering is just a fantasy. Unfortunately, elimination of bigotry via education is also a fantasy. I am still going to strive to do so but I know that it is not going to work, other than a few individuals. I am willing to work towards that goal of a few individuals.
