  • it depends sometimes they will still work. you need to take the battery out and take the back off and leave it for a day or so, try it to see if it works if not mobile repair shops can repair water damage. but price up first incased its cheaper to buy a new phone.
  • Don't turn it on. Take out the battery. Put everything in a bowl of uncooked rice (to absorb moisture). Change it everyday for 3 days and it should be o.k.
  • NEVER EVER try to turn it ON right away. Take the battery out and the casing. Let it dry, you can use hair blow dryer, or leave it open for a few days, making it sure it is all dry. Then try to turn it on. If it's not working then go to a cellphone repair shop.
  • Hear what i did... I open the entire phone, then took a hair dryer and kept it at such a distance, that it will not harm the phone, like with too much heat and so on, and dry it at least twice, just to be sure. Then you should power it up and see...
  • first, u should remove the battery, then, dry off the cell phone with an absorbent towel as best as you can. Use cotton swabs to soak up water in crevices and on any fragile, exposed circuits. more details are on:http://www.cellphonefocus.com/blog/?p=13 hope this helps.
  • open the phone and dry all the parts then leave it open in a warm room for 24 hours then see,but to be honest it depends how wet it got,i dropped mine in the bath and although it dryed out i couldnt use certain features and i couldnt txt certain letters. If it merely got a bit wet and never got immersed in water you stand a good chance of it being totally ok
  • it depends on how wet the phone got. when mine got wet, i had to let it dry for a couple of days, than i plugged it into the wall to dry out the system *(without the battery)for a day and it works like it did before it got wet
  • Take the phone apart and let the parts air dry. Check under the battery for a red dot or xxx in the back. This indicates that there is water damage. Some phones operate with water damage but others will have malfunctions like a flickering screen or buttons that do not work. If you are have any of these problems there is no way to fix it. You will need to get a new phone. Check with your wireless carrier for your replacement options. Your phones warranty does not include water damage. Check to see if you have insurance or if it is time for an upgrade. If it is time for an upgrade check out the free phones at http://www.tmiwireless.com/?aid=39258 .
  • My friend has gotten his phone wet a lot, he puts it in a bowl of dry rice. It drys it out well enough that after about five times only one button has stopped working.
