After rating a quesiton or answer, do you leave a comment just to 'conversationally' let them know it was you?

Very often I do, I try to allways do so when I down mark them, but not so much when I upmark, its kinda annoying having your comment button go orange 100 times a day just cos someone says "good answer". However, if I asked the Q then I do leave comments.

No I do not , I feel that is asking for the person to give you good ratings.

I see what you mean. If a question prompts a rating and a comment from me the two will be logged at more or less the same time, so I suppose I coincidentally let them know it was me by doing both sequentially. I'm not going to come back a few minutes later just to preserve my anonymity, though.

20% - 25% of the time - one comment for every four - five ratings.
