What do you think about the (US) Hours of Service in general? (The old ones, the new ones, the recent court decision, anything.)

combine the two.allow sleeper berth exemption for all drivers w/o the 8 hr minimum.keep the 34 hr restart.

the hours of service have always been a cat and mouse game...as it is now companies are all depending on just in time shipments.this reduces the need for warehousing,etc.if ALL truckers strictly adhered to the hours of service,as written,within 1 week this country would be shut down,and neither the government nor the employers could do anything to the drivers because the drivers would be following the letter of the law.
