Have any of you been an extra in a movie or know someone who was? When the movie came out did you see yourself (or your friend) in the movie? I know a lot of scenes end up on the cutting-room floor.

one of my best friends was in harry potter and the order of the pheonix. i missed her in it but she saw herself, i didn't know she was in it until after i saw the film so i wasn't really looking for her. lol

My friend worked as a wardrobe assistant on a film and she was asked to be an extra in a scene. She had to dance with a group of people in the background while a couple had sex on a rock in the foreground. She said it was hilarious The film was based on a day in the life of a prostitute (I think). The film was only 14 minutes long and was made for a film festival so has never been released. So I will never get to see it. (despite extensive search on the internet) I tease her every time that I see her, calling her a porn star

My brother was an extra in the Patriot. He's visible in several scenes throughout.
