I'm going with great artist.
Even if he was in it for the money, which I doubt, or you don't find his work appealing, he created something new. That in itself is an incredible achievment.
Personally, I think he was a clever con man.
I have a Picasso print but under his signature, appearing to be in the same writing appearing to be "fordington" what an why is that?

Is it fair for art critics(like other artists) to criticize Picasso's work negatively with today's standards(if they think they can)?
