  • If we're talking about childhood, like earning things through chores or allowances and whatnot, I was about 6 or 7, and I bought myself a stuffed animal of Pluto. (Mickey Mouse's dog.) If we're talking about REALLY earning it, like through working a job that I applied for and all, the first thing I bought with my money was this laptop for $653.25 (I calculated tax :P) and I bought that last week. Prior to that, I relied on doing odd jobs for money and working through people (but I didn't really count that) when I really needed the money.
