If we're talking about childhood, like earning things through chores or allowances and whatnot, I was about 6 or 7, and I bought myself a stuffed animal of Pluto. (Mickey Mouse's dog.) If we're talking about REALLY earning it, like through working a job that I applied for and all, the first thing I bought with my money was this laptop for $653.25 (I calculated tax :P) and I bought that last week. Prior to that, I relied on doing odd jobs for money and working through people (but I didn't really count that) when I really needed the money.

I remember buying records with the money I got for babysitting my sister's kids. The only one I can remember is Traffic. (It was a long time ago)

My first high heels. It was 25 dollars. I wore them everywear to the playground, pool, and riding my bicycle. I was 8 years old.

I was 16 and bought my first motorcycle,a 165cc Honda CB.I worked at a fish and chips joint and paid about $200 for it.Back then it was a fair amount of money.In those days motorcycle helmets were not worn and hard to find.I once got the motorcycle up to 100 miles an hour.

I think it was duran duran tickets..it was proabably around 1983 and they were 8 dollars.

45 rpm record. It was about 79 cents and I was about 9 or 10.

I was thirteen and I bought a stuffed dog with a radio in it, I earned the money babysitting, I think it was about 10 dollars, which took 10 hours to earn, cause I made 1 dollar an hour.
