    After stepping up to the Major League roster in early June, he was sent back outright to Triple A New Orleans by the Mets on 12th July after they recalled Lastings Milledge to the big leagues. He is currently playing for the New Orleans Zephyrs, batting .263 with 11 homers and 58 rbis in the minor league season to date.
