An accident, caused by a driver who was drunk. Tragic, but in the past now, time to look to the future not dig up old conspiracy theories.

Not murder, but both the drunk driver AND the paparazzi should be held criminally responsible.

I think it was a freak accident and the paparazzi should be held accountable for a lot of what happened following them bumper to bumper , they took pictures before even trying to help -and thats plan sick + up

I'm a big fan of conspiracy theories and I honestly feel that there was a lot more to this story than we will ever know. As I last recalled Prince Charles is doing quite well with his love life. I believe that the Royals, maybe not even Charles, set the whole thing up to be an accident and they staged it so well that we see drunk drivers having an accident.

Total and complete accident. Guy drove drunk. Was speeding. Crowded by paparazzi. All the elements were there.

Accident. If you were trying to murder her, it was a really, really bad way to do it. If she had put on a seatbelt, she would have lived. If the driver had been driving sensibly when whatever was bollixed broke, she would have lived. If they hadn't been in a concrete underpass, she would probably have lived. There are so many way that assassination plot could have gone wrong, it would only have worked on TV.

Neither. I hardly consider it a freak accident. When somebody drives drunk, there is no "freak" about a fatal accident being the result. I do not believe she was murdered.

It was a drink-driving related accident - 10 years ago. Yawn, when will Fayed stop going on and on about it.

I would say that she was probably murdered with the Royal family as having a hand in it.There were too many flaws in the report and it was swept under the rug immediately.

There are a lot of theory's and independent research that suggest that Princess Diana was the victim of an elaborate assassination. One theory speculates that Diana was assassinated to keep Dodi Al-Fayed from marrying into the royal family. Dodi purchased an engagement ring with the intent to take Diana as his bride. It is assumed she was pregnant when she died, but her body was embalmed before a more complete examination could be done (this was done without the authorization of the royals). If Diana would have lived to bear Dodi's child, it would have introduced an Arabic bloodline into the royal family line, making the child an heir to the throne of England.
