Back in the early 80's I used to go door to door with a box of chocolate bars asking for 2 dollars a bar for school. I also used to canvass neighborhoods with Easter Chocolate catalogs as well.

The best fundraiser that we had was a school social for the parents and a cake sale. The kids were responcible for getting the parents and their friends to buy the $5 tickets. And for getting area businesses to donate items to be auctioned off for the school.

We used to go on sponsered runs ,walks and swims. We used to make quite a lot of money.
