to answer my own question the song was "I Could Not Ask for More"...and I want to cry when I hear it because it reminds me of how I felt then.

I'm a professional musician, so our wedding was loaded with music. Our first dance (alone) was to "All I Ask of You" from the Phantom of the Opera. I still feel love and meaning in my heart every time I hear it or sing it myself at someone else's wedding or reception. We had our wedding party join us for then next dance, and we chose "The Power of Two" by the Indigo Girls. Still well up when I hear that song.

It was going to be "Bless the Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts. I still cry thinking about what it means to me and what could have been when I hear it. A day that will never happen now. I did have another wedding to someone else I'd like to forget. That song was "From this Moment" by Shania Twain. Now I cringe and change the station. Oh, those are some bad memeories and wasted years right there.

It was "You Had Me From Hello" by Kenny Chesney. I still enjoy the song very much at times, but since my divorce I usually find myself changing the channel when it is on.
