Besides the weather, is there anything wrong with Vermont? It's progressive, liberal, and has good ice cream, good maple syrup, natural beauty, a vibrant city, and proximity to Boston and Montreal.

Please don't downrate me for answering your question. It is after all an opinion question, is it not? Here's my list of what's wrong with Vermont. 1.) It's progressive (I like things the way they are "mostly") 2.) It's liberal (I would have the same problem if it was conservative. In my opinion, each area needs a good equal mix) 3.) has good ice cream (I don't like ice cream) 4.) vibrant city (sounds too noisy and obnoxious for me) 5.) proximity to Boston (I have no interest in going to Boston, and heard that it was a nasty place) That's about it for my list.

Besides the fact that I may now have to move there based on the advantages, I don't see anything wrong with Vermont. Although, I know from a friend that good wireless internet access is hard to come by, but hey, there lies an opportunity to see the outdoors. Hahah.
