  • I actually rarely give money to a homeless person. What I do instead is buy them some food. I have lived in some serious drug infested areas and I know, for a fact, that money often does not go for what they say it does. I have seen them take that money and go straight to a liquor store or seen them at their dealers. Hence, I buy them some food.
  • This happends to me almost everyday. I commute from the suburbs thirty five miles each way. The thing that annoys me the most is that after twenty years of doing this I still see the same people begging for money and holding posters saying that they are homeless and have kids to feed.I'm not saying I'm perfect but at least I work two full time jobs and I know that if some of these people put as much effort into finding a job as they do begging, than they would'nt have to beg.The answer to the question is no, I dont give them anything, I'd rather buy something for my kids.
  • First. It seems to me that theres lots of people out there who say they care about the homeless person or bum / but many are only asking questions about the homeless people. Maybe some are afraid of the bums? I dont know. When are they really going to help them?? Winter is freezing in many parts of this country--how would you like it if you had to live outside in the cold? And in the Citys youd have to hide from the street gangs? Or have you coat or pocket change stolen from you and the cops dont help you because you dont rate--you dont have anything to give back to the city. Welcome To The Real world.
