I appreciate productive and enlightening debate. I understand that AB is a place to hash out major religious and political issues. But why are we fighting over "toe jam vs. navel fuzz?" Can't we all just get along?

I actually avoid answering any religious or political questions just for the reason that there is always some one trying to start an argument. Which arguments I dislike very much. Nice question.

Here's what happens. The fight itself starts off (usually) pretty okay. We'll call this a debate. But then one or both of the parties remain rigid and won't even see the other side- which is stupid because why in the hell else would you be debating?! Then people get angry because they feel like they aren't being heard by the other person and probablt vice versa and then people get even more angry and become offensive. They start calling names and acting like children. So, if people would learn HOW to debate properly I think this would happen MUCH less. Also I think people are moody lately, and I'm not sure why. I agree, we should all try to get along!
