How do you quote a quote within a quote? For example if you are quoting a sentence from a newspaper article, but that sentence also contains a quote which a person said.

An alternative method: Set off the first quoted phrase from the second with a colon, then the nested phrase with double-quote marks. Example: . Today, Tom Cruise said: I didn't like it when Oprah told me, "Stop jumping on my couch, you fool."
