  • NO! He's just that stupid.
  • No. It's just a speaking style. I am not putting down Texans, but it is a definite style of Texan speech patterns. It's like stuttering. It is not reflective of the intelligence of the speaker.
  • According to the book "Bush On The Couch" . http://www.amazon.com/Bush-Couch-Inside-Mind-President/dp/0060736712/ Bush's speech patterns may be indicative of being subjected to Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.
  • Yes, he's an idiot.
  • Most people don't realize it, but Bush was taught to speak in a Texan accent...Like Kennedy with his accent and several other presidents. Bush is really a smart president, because this is what he wants people to think of him. Obviously, a moron can't become president, you have to have some sort of political background, and ideology to get up there, even if it means being pup petted by your Vice President... But then again, the American public did vote for him, thus reflects views of the American public...
  • I'm not sure it's a mental problem, but I do think he has a bad case of malapropism (substituting a word that sounds nearly the same as the one you want, but has an entirely different meaning.) He also has a really bad case of being an asshole. JMHO, of course.
  • Ooooohhhhh, I was just going to encourage you to read Bush On The Couch...I was speechless when I finished reading it. I have since recovered my voice LOL.
  • just reading this question makes me smile. yes he's an idiot and i'm sorry to say that somebody actually voted that monkey to rule the US. hopefully we can repare some of the damage done by him...[watching out for DR's now]
  • It is the world's problem. That is the problem.
  • Speeches aren't necessarily a good tool when it comes to judging a person's mental capacity. It's quite obvious that he's not the best at public speaking, but that doesn't mean that he is mentally deficient. Put yourself in his shoes: It would be a bloody hard job to get up in front of a group of people, let alone a state, let alone a nation or the entire world and talk about complex or controversial issues. As to his policies, I couldn't say. I didn't really follow them much. But I can say that he has a bunch of advisors and experts telling him this or that, and he needs to make decisions that affect pratically everyone in the world to some exent. That's a big job. Have a look at each state leader before office and after. Notice the fresh face, clean smile before and then the wrinkles, grey hair and sunken eyes after. Half the people love you, half the people hate you. I think I'll stick with my nine to five, thanks.
  • Oh Boy Politics =P ..Bush was just a Mistake by Choice
