MD, you can get rid of all the ads by editing the hosts file in Windows. Go to the following website and download this free software: http://everythingisnt.com/hosts.html Look for the words "Download installer (updated 02-13-07)" mid-page, click on that, and follow the instructions. This works with all Windows versions, but there's some kind of special precaution you'll need to take with Vista. I can't recall now what that is, but the website should have the info. Because all web browsers (IE, Firefox, etc.) reference the host file, once the software edits your pc's host file, you won't see ads again, no matter what browser you use. The four screenshots show what I see on the homepage after using the download to overwrite the host file.
