No, real magic does not exist. Stage magicians can be highly skilled, and they use the things you mention. There are also magicians who use 'fraudulent' methods - videos that have been manipulated, audience members who are plants, etc. There are also outright frauds, like Uri Geller, who claim to have mysterious powers, but in fact do not.

I don't believe in real magic, unless you're talking about the magic in a young girl's heart. Stage magic and illusions are a fun game and neat to watch. It can all be explained.

Stage and street magic is fascinating because I really like to try to figure out how it was done.
