Does anyone besides me remember the fast-food restaurant 'Burger Chef'? They had the BEST french fries.

Sorry, never heard of the place. What state was it in? When I was a kid my parents didn't take me to McDonald's, they took me to a similar place called "Carrol's". They had this mult-layer burger called "The Club Burger", it's catch phrase was "It is love at first bite". I think they were owned by Burger King and eventually closed when the B-K's took over. This is in the early to mid 70's.

I remember Burger Chef. According to my husband, my brother-in-law worked at one.

Yes I remeber them. They had a restaurant in Point Pleasant NJ USA, where I live, years ago. From what I remember, they were pretty good.
