  • At our family reunion last year my cousin did grilled corn on the cob. She bought the corn still in the husks and peeled the husks back. The she took butter and mixed in garlic poweder and covered each piece in the butter then pulled the husks back up and grilled it. Definitely worth a try.
  • Grilled. I soak corn with the husks intact in water for at least one hour--sometimes overnight. I then put them on the grill for 20-30 minutes. It is difficult for most people to tell the difference between grilled and boiled using this method. I find the grill to be easier.
  • Grilled definitely. I grill it in the husks. Soak it in cold water for 30 minutes first but DO NOT pull back the husks, leave them sealed and intact. Grill high for 10 minutes turning until the husks are beginning to blacken then move them to an upper rack while you grill steaks or whatever else you are having. When ready to serve, pull back the husks using heatproof gloves - the husks and all the silk will just pull away really easily and the corn will be cooked, but still firm, crisp and delicious! Instead of drowning them in melted butter try a squeeze of fresh lime juice and a very light dusting of cayenne pepper for a health and delicious alternative.
  • Grilled, then I like to put some seasoned salt on it. Yum!
  • Grilled over a open fire. Nothin better
  • Corn on the cob is good any way it is fixed but when it is grilled, wrapped in foil to hold the flavor of butter, that is my favorite. yummy
  • To be honest, I have never tried grilled... so right now, I'm saying boiled... but I will try that!
  • Grilled with some butter & parmesan cheese & tobacso sauce yum. You should try it.
  • Boiling never comes near my corn. It's grilled or steamed. I don't want water to touch it. And I like to pick the corn and then go running for the grill. I like it FRESH:-)
  • Boiled with butter, and pepper. (--,)
  • Boiled with lots of butter, salt and pepper.....
  • I prefer boiled. I really don't like it overcooked, I like it still a little crispy, so I just drop it into boiling water for a few minutes, then it's ready to go. Whenever I've had it grilled it's either charred black (which I hate) or it's been cooking there so long it's steamed itself to death and tastes like canned corn (which I also hate). It always tastes better to me when it's been boiled.
  • Raw and on the cob, otherwise i hate sweetcorn!
  • Both are great. If you are looking to get the carmalization of the kernels, and get a sweeter taste, grilled is the way to go. Cook them in husk until the husk starts to blacken. Peel them away and brush on a bit of butter, and bring back to the grill for another 3 minutes. You can season the butter to get more fancy! Boiled corn keeps all the flavor and taste of the corn and in my opinion, is the best for yellow corn.
  • Picked fresh, and eaten raw.
  • oh man grilled and also roasted mmmmmm with everything on it butter, garlic, season all, lemon pepper, salt, pepper, and a little mayo dang its soooooo good, and hey do you have side orders of M&ms lol remember i asked for some a few days back well do you have any more?
  • gGrilled. I also steam it using my asparagus steamer.
  • i love them grilled!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! with butter and pepper!!!!!!!! three of my favorite things all in one, i could eat 10 of them every day!
  • I prefer it raw but grilled would be my second choice.
  • i love both. but i have to say i perfer on the cob with butter.
  • Boiled, I never thought to grill it.
  • Boiled with oodles of butter. Though I did have corn cob baked in an oven once by some Vietnamese friends and I don't know what they did to it but it was the sweetest yummiest corn I have ever tasted.
  • Corn on the cob: I prefer grilled.
