A hall pass is something you get in school to allow you to roam the halls without going to the administrative office. If you do not have one they will think you cutting class, so it is important to have one!

It is permission to be in the corridors (halls) of the school rather than in the classroom - perhaps to get something from one's locker or use the bathroom. Sometimes a hall pass consists of a paper signed by a teacher, or it may be a token of some kind.

A hall pass is normally a piece of paper signed by the teacher allowing you to go and roam the halls to reach somewhere. One of the great things to do with a hall pass is to get one thats not dated, then make several copies of it. Great for avoiding teachers.

A hall pass allows you to leave the class to go to the nurse, bathroom and varies other places. If you do not have a pass the security or police whichever you have at your school will think you are trying to skip your class. And if you are caught skipping then you will get suspended for 3 days. Well thats what they did at my school.
