How do I boot-up a windows system 2000 into DOS - not MSdos so I can load Norton's Ghost from A: drive?

sorry, you're a bit out of luck on that one. Win2000 doesn't have DOS. microsoft stopped basing their operating system on it and instead added MSdos prompt so you can still use most of the old dos stuff. i think win98 was the last to have dos

You would have to set your BIOS to boot from floppy before hard drive and boot from a DOS floppy boot disk. If Norton Ghost requires this, surely it includes the means to boot up into DOS by having the facility to make a boot disk.
