Why do some look forward to the weekends when all they do is stay at home and do nothing during it?

For some people, a chance to do nothing is all they need.

Because it's their time to do what they want, not what others want them to do..if nothing is what they want, that's great. You don't have to always be out and about to have a great time.

Because they can relax and not worry about getting up for work, they can basically just 'chill'!

for me, i do nothing but I LVOE DOING NOTHING it is soo relaxing.

Yup, that's me lots of weekends. It's not having to deal with certain people that makes me look forward to it. Otherwise, I really don't mind getting up early and accomplishing something.

After spending most of my week on the run, it is nice to have a day or two when I don't have to go anywhere...

i spend all week talking to people and running around a huge hospital...surrounded by stress and drama...so i look forward to doing what some may call nothing (ie. laying on a lawn chair reading)its the only way to de-stress from the week!

I look forward to the weekends, and i usually stay home beauce i work alot, and that is when I ghet the most sleep, and spend the most time with my son....
