They have made a good descision it seems cycling is trying to clean up its very poor image. He has had 14 tests during the race all negative. They have actually sacked him for lieing about his whereabouts when he should have had pre race tests. I think the tour will go on. Cycling and Athletics seem to be the sports trying to clean up but what about all the rest of them

I think the tour will go on; however, I don't think it has been the same since Lance left.

Michael denies that he was in Italy and still claims he was in Mexico as far as I have heard. I would think he should have some documentation to prove where he was though including plane tickets or something like that. I would think there would be some sort of tracking who enters or leaves a country and when. Why can't he prove what country he was in? If I were Michael and I was really in Mexico and some guy said he talked to me in Italy I would think that I had grounds for a pretty good lawsuit. I just hope there is more proof that Rasmussen did lie than the word of one biker. I would hate to think that one person could say one thing (and be wrong) that would end a great bikers career. The Tour is not dead. Plenty of riders are doing it and following the rules. The Tour will go on. France makes too much money from it to let it die. The fans were still lining the road, even after the scandals. Plenty of fans still trust their favorite riders.
