In todays traffic courts, its the trend to allow 1st through 3rd moving traffic offenses to be dismissed after a 2, 4, or 6 hr. defensive driving class. after successfully completing the class, your citation will be dismissed and not effect your auto insurance. in tennessee, the class costs $25 and is well worth it. all states are different. call your local traffic violations bureau for more information. end
