Although there were some great movies based on Stephen King books in your opinion what was the worst movie adaptation?
I thought Cell was awful. That is the movie with John Cusack.

My favorite is Misery. The lead actors (James Caan and Kathy Bates) really made it work.

Shadow Of The Mind Misery is a great movie. Have you seen Cell with John Cusack? I thought Cell was one of the worst movie adaptations of a King novel. -

Needfullthings they changed the story I liked the book. I just found out The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger movie was made I might watch it if I can find it.

I think that a majority of his movies are difficult to get through. He spends too much time on minor details and not enough on actual horror, which is what people pay to see. His novels are like that too. "Misery" is a notable exception. I loved that movie. It made me cringe. I can't watch it today by myself.. However movies like Tommy Knockers, the Langoliers and Pet Cemetary are just a waste of time. Salem's Lot was just plain awful. Not scary at all. I can let my kids watch, no problem.
