I've just been watching coverage of the floods on Sky News. When I lived in SW England I saw flooding in some of these places, but the scale this time is unprecedented. My heart goes out to these people who have put heart and soul into their homes, only to see them ruined. But, in typical British fashion, people seem to be pulling together.

it cant be saved, all we can do is desert it like rats leaving a sinking ship. i got caught in flash floods last year in a smart car and it wasnt that smart it was SCARY they float on puddles never mind rivers, we had landrovers floating past us.
