Unfortunately the baseball-reference.com stats I usually use for this sort of question only go back as far as 1957, so I haven't been able to find out how quickly players like Babe Ruth, Jamie Foxx, Loe Gehrig and of course Hack Wilson in his record-holding 191 rbi season reached the 100 rbi plateau, sorry. The fastest I could find was Juan Gonzalez hitting his 100th rbi of 1998 on July 4th, which is fast enough to be sure that A-Rod is too late to break this record if that is what you were wondering!
