I'm seriously looking for a car to convert to run like this. I've heard of people getting 60+ MPG with a regular car. You have to do extra work to get the oil, but I personally think it's worth it.
I heard of a person in Australia that actually got charged for tax evasion for running her car on veggie oil. Apparently, over in Australia, they don't like you not having to pay the tax on fuel. I haven't heard of anything like that happening in the US or the UK, but it's a good idea to keep a heads up anyway.
the waste oil must be processed and cleaned it works well EXCEPT in cold weather you must be careful when the temperature drops it will gel up,if not treated.go to www.biowillie.com.
A cousin of mine takes used vegetable oil from restaurants and converts it to fuel. He said he saves thousands, actually about 3,500 a year. He was in the local paper for it too. :)

You're reading If you own and drive a grease vehicle, do you manufacture your own biodiesel, or do you just mix waste vegetable oil with diesel fuel? What is your annual saving on fuel cost?
Comments
My sister in law has a car that runs on biodiesel, and it certainly doesn't come anywhere near that mpg. Good luck.

60mpg is what some people get with a Toyota Prius gas-electric hybrid. Good luck to you.
