I have just watched a tv programme about tracking devices for children. It said there was an argument for implanting them under the skin. Given the recent kidnapping of Madeleine McCan, do you think an under-the-skin device for children is a good idea?

no. people for this thing will always try to employ pathos to sell this big brother enabling nonsense...we are already too easy to track down if somebody wants. why make it easier? a million kidnapped children are not worth being tagged like animals

I have no problems with it, after all we put tracking devices in cars, and what is more important? Finding a stolen car or finding a stolen child?

I would Implant all three of my kids if the opportunity was given. Its too easy for a child to be missing and never found. After they reach 21 you can always have it removed. (I think it is a good ideal for husbands too!) lol

I would do it in a heartbeat to make sure my kids were safer. However, they would obniously have the option to remove it once they reach majority.
