    I always liked York Peppermint Patty as a kid. A few years ago (in my 50s at the time), when I lived in a place where Trick or Treat was still happening, I bought just about every candy bar there is and had some left over. Turns out my taste in candy has not changed one iota. I still like York Peppermint Patty best. In regards to Halloween-specific candy, the only thing that I can think of is candy corn...and I still love candy corn.

      Peppermint Patties can be a health risk to someone addicted to them. The main ingredient is menthol, which can be toxic when ingested in large amounts. Menthol intoxication can be fatal.
