Are you a good/great gift giver? Do you always seem to be able to find the perfect gift for someone?

I do give much back more than I receive. Sometimes, I do get the right gift, and other times, they still appreciate the gift, but by their look on their faces, it doesn't seem that I got the perfect one.

I really try. If I can't find the right gift, words are IMO just as good. I try to show someone that I'm paying attention, and that I get it. So if I can't find the right gift, I say something meaningful. But, usually I try to give good gifts. My last great gift? I got my bf a 1976 "Mean" Joe Greene Steeler's jersey. He's a HUGE Steeler's fan, and Mean Joe is his favorite Steeler. Not only that, but his number is 75, and this year is the Steeler's 75th anniversary, so it was like a triple whammy of a good gift. I was so proud of that one! :P

I am a terrible gift giver, I would rather give cash personally, I just can't pick the right thing out :(.

I don't usually give a gift until I find just the right thing. I hate havng to settle on just something. I often see something that strikes me as just right for someone. And many times it's something I make for just them, with their tastes in mind.

I am a horrible gift giver..Each year at christmas time I would just go to the bank and get a bunch of cashiers checks and send them out in cards. I figure they know what they would want alot better than I would so..I send money and they can buy what they want :)

I believe I am. I put a lot of thought into every gift I buy. I pay attention to the brands people wear and the style their home is decorated in. I remember favorite colors, favorite perfumes, and a variety of other details. I pay attention if someone happens to mention they "wish they had this or that". If they do happen to collect something I may choose to add to the collection. Or I may buy something special that relates to their hobby.

I never know what to give, but put a lot of effort into it and usually end up doing well. It's the thinking of something which sucks as it causes so much unneccessary. I conceeded to give one of my vouchers this year as I really couldnt think
