There may be pain in the flank area of the back on either side. There may also be bladder pain. If the uterers are occluded this causes inablilty to urinate resulting in excrutiating pain. If the stones are small the are normally passed and the symptoms disappear. Drinking plenty of water will aid in this. When they are passed they look like pepper.
If you suspect that you have a stone. You need to consult of physician a.s.a.p.

I was told it would take 3 days to pass my kidney stone(3mm) I am now on day 9. Should i be concerned or just keep waiting?
