  • Nope. the dictionary is the authority on what is what. Courts are just there for clarification and legal matters. Only some nuts are classified as dry fruits but most are true nut and have a high enough protein content to put them in the meat and protein rich foods group.

      But which nuts are true nuts and which are seeds? And the peanut is actually a legume. But the coconut is not a true nut. And what about the pine nut? Sunflower seeds... seeds that meet the definition of a nut. It could drive one 'nuts' trying to sort it all out!
  • Well, if the Fifth Circuit Appeals upheld a 2003 USDA regulation making frozen battered French Fries a "fresh" vegetable (justified so someone could get paid in the event their customer went bankrupt), then it's potato-pototto, let's call the whole thing off.
