  • I love boxing, been out of touch but an amazing sport, yes its controlled battering, but then look at rugby, as dangerous and some!
  • It's fun to do sometimes. A friend of mine has gloves and we hold drunken boxing matches every once in a while. I really don't like to watch it on TV though. That IFC show just doesn't do it for me, can't get into it.
  • It isn't wrong if the boxers are choosing to do it. It is a ridiculous concept, though.
  • Ever since Ali left the ring I have never watched another fight.
  • With boxing, if anyhting serious is going to go wrong someone will stop it - so it is cool with me plus i find it quite funny to watch "hard" men get knocked out
  • I Box Alot Tryin to Reach my Golden Gloves then Move up.. i see it as a fun sport =) the adrenaline gets to me yo feels soo good but from there my mom hates it... but she think its because i might get hurt or end up like the famous boxers... all shaky
  • I boxed for a local club for many years, its awesome... nothing like the pure adrenalin.... its in my blood!
  • I love listening to my mother watching boxing! She get so into it and yells at the TV! For all my life I will remember my mother yelling "Getum getum before the bell!" :)
  • I don't have anything against it. I don't find enjoyment in watching people bash each other. I actually think it's rather stupid, but "whatever floats your boat" I suppose.
  • I love to watch boxing,I like the middle weight fights the best.
  • I love boxing, (watching, not performing), but it is a brutal sport. It's really too bad that there's not much going on now in the sport. I do believe the referee should stop the fights a little quicker, tho'. There are way too many boxers that can't hardly speak anymore. I also think that there should be shorter matches, too. I know here while back that they shortened them from 15 rounds to 10 or 12 rounds, but they should probably be shortened even more. I say a max of 8 rounds. As far the ultimate fighting matches go, I think they should be banned. Have you seen the way those guys wail on each other. No one's body is supposed to take that much punishment. I am afraid that someone is going to die in one of the UFC matches. But, I do watch boxing, (not UFC), and enjoy it. I have also boxed before and it is the hardest sport I have ever participated in. We just need to make sure that the boxers are protected as much as possible.
  • Boxing, by far is the greatest sport ever invented by human beings. it's tied with UFC!!!
  • I love Boxing. Nobody forces the boxers into the ring
  • I think young children (under 25) should be excluded.
  • I enjoyed it in the past. The boxers are too anonymous to me now since I haven't been following it at all. I miss the Tuesday Night fights the USA Network broadcast until a few years ago and ESPN seems to never broadcast boxing.
  • For some reason I really like those violent sports =P The one thing I will say though is that I wish it were safer for the boxers themselves - they get so many awful injuries and develop such bad health problems over time because of them. My great-grandfather and his best friend (who was at one point also married to my great-grandmother o.O but died young - boxing injuries) was a boxer. He didn't die young, but he could probably have lived longer if he hadn't boxed. When he was in his 60's though some young men tried to rob him and he just punched them and knocked them both out =P
  • more fun to do than watch. but it is brutal as hell last week i was at a charity Amateur Boxing event and one of the heavy weights got Knocked out cold I thought he was dead at first one of the most brutal KO's I have ever seen amateur or Pro and as soon as he was down everyone got up and started cheering and yelling, At that moment I realized Wow we are some sick people and kept cheering lol
  • boxing is the most beatiful sport in the world( they dont call it the sweet science for nothing). yes it can be brutal but what sport is not although im not his biggest fan try watching a floyd mayweather fight, it will show you how classy and sweet boxing can be
  • I think it is great, though it is in a bit of a lull at the moment.
