Where can I find HO-scale tracks that operate signals based on pressure on the tracks?

    The actual weight of the locomotives will vary, so it would be best to use a diode and photo cell to detect the presence of the trains. The best diode to use would be a visible light red one so you can actually see if it is working. Of course you will have to position it so the red glow is not visible to the viewing public with the units camofloged in the scenery. If this is not possible, then you will have to use an infa red diode. The photo cell could be used to power a relay so higher currents could be passed. Jack
