Are you sometimes ever tempted to say "lol" when speaking to people, instead of just laughing?

No really....i think i am not so much into the whole Lol thing.... I do laugh out loud, just that i do not say it in conversation with people. Online i use it a lot, but never caught with that one yet....

yes. rarely but at times yes. (especially when a joke is not funny enough for me to actually laugh).

My niece does it...Drives me nuts, but whenever she hears something funny, she says "lol"...

Yes, people have taken it TOO far. People will even SAY "lol" in a face-to-face convo..It drives me insane.. A long w/ this other outrageous & lengthy computer lingo.. ROTFLMAO= Roll on the floor laughing my a$$ off LMAO= Laughing my a$$ off LAMFAO= Laughing my mouther f*cking a$$ off and such...Just laugh people. :))

I've used it as an inside joke with friends before, who then say roflmao and son on so forth, we do the same in msn as well

Never..I also never write it or think it...if I have done it, I simply say I just laughed out loud. I know, very old fashioned...nevertheless, there it is. :)

i think as a gamer lifes much easier abbriviating every thing..like lol ect and esp for games like call of duty do u seriously wanna say that after a 3 day lan with no sleep i dont think so..so you just say cod.or cnc or cs or war or coh k u get my point lol

I've never done it or had the desire to... but it was done TO me. I was at work talking to a coworker and said something stupid and she literally says to me "LOL" with a straight face! I was like 'uhhhh... okay'... it was strange!

I have nearly said lol in conversations so many times, but have always managed to stop myself before I have. lol :)

Nope! While it's fine for online, I think it'd make me sound stupid in face to face conversations. Sigh.
