Are their truly leaders here on AB? I see it more as a group of friends. Some groups are more active then others so it may seem like they have a leader but in reality not so.

I don't follow or lead, I just watch. I've never been one to "buy into" something because other people are doing it /*cough*bacon/*cough* but I don't have anything against those that do. It's nice to sit on the sidelines sometimes and watch things play out.

1) It is true there are many submissions which are following others. For instance, answers follow questions, in a way... 2) Think about it: there are also some people here who really want to know something and could not find out the answer themselves - not just people trying to post original questions for the sake of it - and those questions are at the same time very specific but sometime also very common. 3) Some people like an idea and use it again. But: they often bring something interesting of their own. And of course there are also the very original submissions. But, as just said, these submissions are so good that many others would use the idea again....
