When you were little did you cry when you first went to school?

Yea i use to hate going to school.But i never cried though.

I'm not sure if the right word is cry, it took my Dad, Mom and teacher to pull me off of my dad's leg.

You bet, I did. I was in grade one and it was my first day of school - we didn't have kindergarten in the town I lived in. I spent the whole day beside the teacher's desk and she kept putting her arm around me because I was so upset. She was a young nun and she was very understanding.

No, cause it was the only time I was alllowed out of my house, and to be with other kids.

No, but I did cry when my older sister got to go to school, but I had to stay home ... she was 6, I was 4.

I was too young to remember.

My mom could not leave me at preschool. I would do nothing but cry if I knew she was going to leave. So she would stay for a short time and then go when I was not looking. Made those watching the kids happy they did not have to deal with me. I remember even one time clinging to her leg "don't go".
