  • If it's a good dye job, and you wait a couple of days for it to set in, that would be improbable. However, chlorine found in the water of swimming pools is harsh on any kind of hair, dyed or not.
  • If it is coloured correctly it should not make any difference to the pool water, but if you have it bleached under the purple it could change the colour of your own hair . Wear a cap.
  • That depends on a lot of things. All dyes are not created equal. Also the process you go through to get your hair purple makes a difference. Tell me what you're planning to do and I'll be better able to tell you what the likely out come will be. Also, tell me what kind of swimming it is. I mean is it pool water, ocean water, or fresh water swimming?
