Did you or do you climb trees? I used to do it all the time when I was young but now I haven't seen a kid climb a tree in years. Do your kids climb trees?

Man I used to do it all the time! We used to have huts up the trees! I was such a tomboy when it came to that! Oh the fun we had! Good old days eh! Havent sween a kid up a tree in a while though! Oh prob coz theyre all cut down lol!

I used to climb trees all the time until i was swinging on a tree rope and then it broke and i ended up breaking both of the bones in my forearm. But i still climb the occasional tree even though i am 20 yrs old now

We spent many a days climbing trees whereever we could for years - took up so much of my childhood. Kids are more likely to burn trees than climb them now days though, it's sad.

my kids love climbing trees. at the park, camping, etc. We moved to the colorado desert with no trees but have been growing them. they wont be ready for climbing in my teenage boys childhood, but i always remind them they can have a treehouse at any age. and yes i grew up in the midwest, climbing monster maple trees and apple trees. would also like to comment their are still a lot of kids who love to do this sort of things but can be hassled by the elderly. we have encounteered this problem on more then one ocassion with rude comments of "stop tearing up the trees!", which they were not doing. too bad kids aren't encouraged more by parents and strangers to tree climb.
