Don't worry - the powers that be have just not found out about me yet!

To be considered an expert in a particular category you have to have answered a certain number of questions within it and earned a certain number of points. Although I don't know what the numbers are.
-
Perhaps there are very few or no points that are awarded in the category. They usually just people who come and go without giving any points. Usually these categories are rather small things or personal ideas.

I suggested American Idol as a new category and it has the most questions of any TV show about 70 and it has more questions asked, almost double of some categories that do have experts. Overnight I became an expert in riddles which puzzled me which is another category I'm an expert in. It's up to the whim of the moderators. Evan I just gave you a bunch of +5's for some of your questions because I know it had to be you that +'ed a lot of my South Park submissions. Just paying back a good deed.

Really, because no body has tried to become expert in that category, I hope his helps.

For a user to gain an expert title, he or she must have five rated answers under a certain category, and the total points of those answers should be at least 25. A category will remain "expertless" if no user meets those requirements.
