Can anyone recommend a few good trashy easy to read novels whilst I am lounging around in Sri-Lanka for two weeks?

Night Of Mice of Men A Seperate Peace Lord of the Flies I thought that these were good novels to read.

A year of endless sorrows by Adam Rapp--about a guy with knee pain writing a novel, how he gets a job because he played basketball and was tall. His room mates are a scream, especially the one that lives on the couch(literally). There are some sad bits too, but all in all a great book. Not a trashy novel but a good book.

"The Beach" by Alex Garland "The Secret History" by Donna Tartt "Chocolat" by Joanne Harris (the book is much better than the film) I wouldn't necessarily call any of them trashy, but they're nice easy reads and good for holidays. The Lemony Snickett books are good for holidays too. Lots of fun.

It depends on what you like, I love the HArry Potter series, and if you get all 6 you will prob finish them while on the beach!
