  • Probably "Answers in Genesis"(Jonathan Sarfati is part of this and he has a book called "Refuting Evolution"). I hope this is in someway helpful. -In the Master's service. Thank you and God bless you!
  • You often hear that recognized scientists support creationism but you seldom hear their names. Often, it's that a scientist is challenging the theory of evolution, or how evolution occurs. This is not the same as challenging the fact of evolution itself. Jonathan Sarfati is an outspoken scientist against evolution. Brilliant, he is a physical chemist, not a biologist. A heart surgeon may be brilliant, but it doesn't mean he can fix you car's engine.
  • Here are a couple of names.... Stephen Hawkinds Alber Einstein Issac Newton . Well, there are (arguably) the 3 most important scientists to have ever lived! . Read Stephen Hawkins own "A Brief History of Time" for proof of this. . What they do not agree with however is tht the earth was made 2000 years ago. Creationism CAN run alongside Evolution. The only people that doubt that are people that still think the world was created 2000 years ago despite all the evidance to the contary.
  • Some on the following list have recently died. You will notice many of the below listed scientists are specialists in Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Bio-chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Genetics, Archaelogy and Palaeontology, or Reproductive Physiology. The list is long and may not contain all who believe in Creationism. Remember, you did ask the question. You could have done this research yourself but many who ask questions such as yours usually don't. If you doubt the accuracy of this list, research it for yourself. # Dr. Paul Ackerman, Psychologist # Dr. E. • Some other very significant scientists today who support Creationism (albeit by the label Intelligent Design), include Michael Behe (a very well-respected bio-chemist) and Stephen Meyer (who has just published a fascinating book called The Signature in the Cell).
  • "... Although in the scientific community there is essentially universal agreement that the evidence of evolution is overwhelming, and the scientific consensus supporting the modern evolutionary synthesis is nearly absolute,[1][2] creationists have asserted that there is a significant scientific controversy and disagreement over the validity of evolution. . The Discovery Institute, a pro-intelligent design lobby group located in the United States, also claims that because there is a significant lack of public support for evolution, that public schools should, as their campaign states, "Teach the Controversy". Nearly every scientific society, representing hundreds of thousands of scientists, has issued official statements disputing this claim[2] and a petition supporting the teaching of evolutionary biology was endorsed by 72 US Nobel Prize winners.[6] Additionally, US courts have ruled in favor of teaching evolution in science classrooms, and against teaching creationism, in numerous cases. ..." . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Level_of_support_for_evolution The more I research, the more I find against these claims.
  • either they got paid or theyre not really scientists
  • Damned few. "By one count there are some 700 scientists with respectable academic credentials (out of a total of 480,000 U.S. earth and life scientists) who give credence to creation-science..." This was a quote from Newsweek in 1987. The numbers haven't changed much. http://www.religioustolerance.org/ev_publi.htm#earth 1/10th is the equivalent of: 10% 700/480,000 is the equivalent of: 0.1458333% Hardly a majority. Or to put it in another way- If Every last person in the U.S.A., was a scientist (300,000,000-approximately) The creation supporters would number: 43,750. About a small/medium sized town.
  • Depends what you mean by "creationism" as it's mostly a reactionary America movement against preaching evolution as "fact" instead of theory.
  • Hmm! I guess religious ones
  • Of the thousands of scientists in the country ,the two that believe in creationism are evangelical church elders in their 80s. There are more scientists who believe there are no negative health affects from tobacco than don't believe in evolution.
